Monkey Island + Treetop Walk / Puerto Maldonado / Peru
We arrived with the night bus in Puerto Maldonado. As we unorganized stroll around the city we meet a captain offering us a boat trip to monkey island and a tree top walk.
A very good idea, just the two of us on the boat, no stress. The monkeys on the island of the madre de dios rivers are in the mood for showing themselves today.
The second stop brings us to a tree top walk. Many of the jungles wildlife takes place in the trees, this walk is a good opportunity to catch a glimpse on this habitant and also it is a good lookout point.
